What does a psychotherapist do in individual psychotherapy?
This is an interview dialogue with a client. In a confidential atmosphere, slowly, I communicate with the client within 1 hour. During this time, the person shares with me his experiences and problems. I listen carefully; by the way, “listening” is also a method of alleviating the suffering of those who seek help. In the process of dialogue, we built a therapist-client alliance on the foundation of mutual trust. At the same time, during this dialogue, I stimulate your resources and I am looking at personal strengths.
This is a psychotherapeutic conversation that has a certain line, I use special professional questions, these are questions that you have never heard before from the people around you. Through systemic questions the client voluntarily moves in a given direction, solves his problem, increases inner resources, and improves his mood. I free a person from problems, feelings of inferiority, etc., until we reach together the “core of the problem.” Therefore, I am a provider, on the way to your well being.
